Top stars part ways with Ring of Honor and may go to TNA

The couple is done with ROH that makes them free agents now

Former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis and ROH star Mike Bennett have parted ways with Ring of Honor and made their last appearance for the promotion at last night’s TV tapings in Philadelphia.

The real-life couple and ROH couldn't work out a deal that pleased both parties leading to the departure according to PWInsider. What must be noted, though, is that the news of their departure didn’t come as a surprise to the people in ROH.

The people within the promotion saw it coming from a mile and knew that the couple was planning on moving out. Bennett was in a tag team with Matt Taven – who is staying put with ROH and has a contract that runs up until March or April of 2016.

This also points to the couple also being done with Japanese top dog New Japan Pro Wrestling.

If speculations are to be believed, the couple is planning on jumping ship to TNA as sources report that they have been telling people about going to TNA after their ROH contract ends.

TNA has been given a breath of fresh air with their new TV deal with Pop TV and the company would welcome the couple with open arms if things fall into place.

Rumor mills have also been buzzing about WWE being interested in signing Maria back into their fold and her departure from ROH adds more fuel to the rumors.
