This week's Smackdown wouldn't be the regular affair as WWE’s b show is going to be live on the USA Network.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
It is being billed as a Super Smackdown edition and WWE too is making sure that the match card lives up to the hype. Two titles will be on the line on the special episode of Smackdown – one of which is the Intercontinental title.
Dean Ambrose will defend his title against Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler in a Triple Threat match for the Intercontinental title that has a classic wrestling match written all over it.
New Day’s Tag team titles will also be defended against the deserving Lucha Dragons – who have been patiently getting over with the WWE Universe and have validated an exclusive shot at the belts.
WWE is picking up their game all of a sudden as the past few weeks have seen solid and we have been treated to some all-around programming when it comes to RAW. Even though the possibility of titles changing hands is minimal, the quality of the matches is sure to be top notch.
This is exactly what Smackdown needs before it completely moves to the USA Network and airs live once 2016 commences. WWE has huge plans for Smackdown in the new year and this is just the start.
