Survivor Series is one of the big four pay-per-views but is regarded as the least important when compared to the other three. But that would all change as the next pay-per-view on the WWE calendar is Survivor Series and also happens to be Undertaker’s 25th anniversary at the PPV.
WWE are choosing the path that is destined to be the best when it comes to a business perspective and have already advertised Undertaker for next month’s mega pay-per-view. Survivor Series is scheduled to take place on November 22nd at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia and WWE posted the following tweet to hype up the pay-per-view:
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Hell in a Cell is in the books and so is the epic Lesnar and Undertaker feud that saw it’s inevitable end. Endings always mark the beginning of something new and promising, which in Taker’s case holds true.
Undertaker was treated to a standing ovation after his match against Lesnar, which made each and every wrestling fan at home too, stand up and applaud for the legend.
The Staples Centre was echoing with ‘thank you Taker’ chants and just when it seemed that the show would be drawn to a close, the lights went out and a sudden realization set in that WWE still has something up their sleeve.
The lights come on and the entire Wyatt family stood like menacing beasts ready to prowl on their prey. Luke Harper also was with them after a brief layoff, who along with Bray, Strowman and Rowan went on to attack Undertaker in the middle of the ring. Many expected Lesnar to come out, or even Reigns or Ambrose, but ‘The Phenom’ was left by himself. It all ended when the Wyatts carried ‘The Deadman’ on their shoulders and walked out of the arena.
All of this points out to a team Undertaker vs Wyatt Family match at the upcoming Survivor Series PPV, which sounds great on paper and in theory. It was also rumored that Taker would be working more dates this year which is true from the looks of it.
Kudos to the legend for his loyalty and dedication to the business as it takes a lot for a 50-year-old to wrestle on a regular basis. Stay tuned for further updates on the same.
