Rey Mysterio changed his flight just hours before Eddie Guerrero passed away

Eddie Guerrero passed away in November 2005, which was right around the time that WWE stars are setting up for the European Tour.

Rey Mysterio revealed that he was originally supposed to catch a connecting flight with Eddie the night that he died, but instead, he caught a red-eye and when he landed he found out about Guerrero from one of the men who was helping with his bags at the airport.

"We were at a SmackDown taping the last time I had a chance to see Eddie, this was prior to a big tour that we getting ready to do, I was getting ready to leave the arena and Eddie was living in Phoenix at the time and I was gonna connect on the same flight that he was on from Phoenix to Minneapolis, so I actually told him: 'I'll see you on the flight.' I ended up changing my flight and I took a red-eye, as soon as I arrived, one of the truck drivers for the crew reached me and is helping with my bags. He was like 'Rey, did you hear about Eddie?' I said 'No, no, what happened?' 'He just passed.' I was like 'No, wait.'

Rey went on to reveal that he left his bags and headed over to the hotel where Guerrero still was and after talking to the doctor he was allowed to go and see his body in a room alongside Chavo Guerrero.
