Sting was Seth Rollins' childhood hero

Seth Rollins has always been a huge fan of Sting, when he was growing up he was one of the stars that he believed stood out in WCW and one of the reasons why Rollins chose to grow up to be a professional wrestler.

He stated himself that whilst he was dreaming about his WWE career, there were certain things that he thought could happen which included main eventing WrestleMania or winning the World Championship but there were other dreams that he had that were so far out of reality that he didn't dare to dream that they may happen just in case they couldn't.

Being able to face Sting was one of the things that was a dream for him that he never dared dream about, so when he got the call he was in his kitchen at home. He recalled that he had to grab onto his counter because he almost fell when he was informed that he would be facing his childhood hero at Night of Champions in 2015 with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line.
