Video: The Great Khali's injury update

It was reported yesterday that Indian wrestler The Great Khali suffered serious injuries in the midst of a wrestling match. Khali was facing Canadian wrestler Brody Steele when he was attacked by two other wrestlers, including Steele, and struck repeatedly with a steel chair.

A bleeding and pained Great Khali had to be rushed out of the venue and was reportedly admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Brijlal Hospital in Haldwani. After being under observation to monitor the gravity of the reported head and back injuries, Khali has been transported to a speciality hospital in Dehradun. Doctors are uncertain if he has suffered chest injuries as well.

The match held at the Indira Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Gaula Par, Haldwani was the first of two, with the second originally scheduled for the 28th at the Rajeev Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Raipur, in Dehradun.
