The New Day, the trio of WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, and five-time tag team champions Xavier Woods and Big E, are probably one of the most entertaining groups in recent WWE history.

Kofi Kingston became WWE champion at WrestleMania 35 after defeating Daniel Bryan at The Show of Shows. It was a team effort as Woods and Big E played a vital role in Kingston getting that opportunity.

The New Day have been their entertaining self post WrestleMania 35, but one of their members, Big E, hasn't been on WWE television recently.

Where is Big E?

So, the question on every fan's lips is "Where is Big E?" Well, Big E suffered an injury on the SmackDown after WrestleMania 35, and WWE later confirmed that he will be taking time to recover from his torn meniscus.

The injury happened in a six-man tag team match between The New Day and the team of The Bar and Drew McIntyre. WWE or Big E haven't revealed the time that he has to spend on the treatment table or a return date.

Following Big E's injury, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, the other two members of New Day recruited Kevin Owens to be their interim member. Owens took on Big E's role and was even named "Big O", but it seemed that Big E wasn't happy with Owens' addition and even sent a cryptic warning to his New Day brothers.

He quoted a verse from the Bible about being wary of "false prophets" in "sheep's clothing".

That warning came to life as Kevin Owens turned on Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods on the 23rd April show of SmackDown Live, where Owens attacked both of them after the WWE Champion's match against Shinsuke Nakamura.

It seems that Kingston will defend his WWE title against Owens at the next PPV - Money in the Bank.
