Apollo Crews delivers a dropkick

– It was announced after NXT Takeover Respect, that there would be a Battle Royale to decide the fate of the No. 1 contender.

Even though Samoa Joe tried to assert his status, William Regal did not budge and went ahead with the Battle Royale. Apollo Crews came out of it as the victor. The wrestler who just made his debut two months back looks like the real deal. He is physically dominating as well as athletic and with a large move set.

Apollo Crews would be facing Finn Balor for the NXT Title. The opinion is divided on whether Crews should win or not this early in his career. During an interview segment on NXT, he said that his goal is to be the NXT Champion and he will win it for the whole ‘Apollo Nation’.

– The tag team of Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton looks to be on the verge of a break up after losing against the NXT Tag Team champions, the Vaudevillians. Fulton in a backstage segment looked to be frustrated with Dawkins and gave him a piece of his mind.

– The NXT taped a show on 14/10/15 at Winter Park, Florida. Following are the results of the same.

• * The show opened with Bayley speaking about the NXT Takeover Respect, her match with Sasha Banks and how Women’s Wrestling is supposed to be respected. She received a big pop from the crowd. Alexa Bliss came out with Blake and Murphy to congratulate Bayley before grabbing the title and making her intentions clear.

* Next up was the Finn Balor and Samoa Joe segment where they were seen celebrating their Tag Team Classic victory. Regal interrupted and announced that there would a battle royal to determine the No.1 Contender for Balor’s title.

* The Vaudevillians went up against Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton and won the match delivering a whirling dervish on Dawkins.

* Nia Jax, the newcomer defeated Evie, another debutant with a spine buster.

* Battle Royal match starts off with a frenzy. The last two remaining wrestlers are Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews. Crews twice hits an enzuigiri and then delivers a clothesline to Corbin to win the match.
