WWE: Why are Ryback-Axel still working as a team?

Last week, RAW had many ambiguous segments and matches. WWE usually does that. But the one thing that stood crystal clear after last week’s RAW was that Paul Heyman was annoyed at the man who he once called beautiful – Ryback

Ryback has probably broken Heyman’s heart and that never ends well. Heyman disowned Ryback and that seemed crystal clear. He called Ryback ugly and a dummy and that to me does not signal any possibility of a reconciliation. Maybe an apology from Ryback might be in order but apart from that they might be done.

And reports seem to be saying the same thing as Paul Heyman’s ‘Next Big Thing’, ‘The Pain’ Brock Lesnar might return to face Ryback. Now that is something that I had predicted and really wanted to see. Lesnar is a powerhouse and pretty athletic for a man his size and Ryback’s power has always been kept in the spotlight by the WWE. They even had a rumored fight backstage last year.

Anyway even after all this, even after having been insulted by Heyman, Ryback teamed up with Curtis Axel in order to face CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. Now tell me what does that say about Ryback’s character or Curtis Axel’s character. Or actually what does it say about the WWE?

The negative aspect to it is that Heyman’s promo on Monday had no implications on Friday. We have to wait another week to see if something happens. Is Ryback being pushed or is he just biding his time? The positive of it can be a look at why Axel decided to team with a partner who is seemingly an irritant for his manager. Does that add any layer to Curtis Axel? I don’t have much hope for that but I am willing to wait and watch what happens and if THIS has any implication at all.

Axel needs to have a characteristic. Just like Ryback misses a good opponent who can make him look good, Axel on the other hand lacks qualities that any character or anyone qualified to be called a human being has.

Dolph Ziggler suddenly came to the fore and it looked like there was the next IC title feud but WWE continued its trend of using a talented and super over Ziggler in putting over other talent.

The WWE either needs to clear the air surrounding Heyman-Ryback-Axel or muddle the air with speculation that are worth the time to ponder over and solve and look forward to.

Let’s hope the WWE hears this plea out and give Axel a few characteristics except being ‘perfect’.
