CM Punk retains the title

Two guys who proclaimed themselves as the "Best in the World" over the years took on one another at WrestleMania 28- We are talking about the CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho match for the WWE Championship.

The stipulation for this match was that if Punk got disqualified, he would still lose the title. Jericho teased Punk and irritated him so that Punk may do something crazy and get disqualified but that never happened.

The champion kept his cool and avoided the use of any weapons during the match. Jericho locked Punk in the walls but the straight edge superstar managed to reverse it and applied an Anaconda Vice of his own. Jericho had no choice but to tap out resulting in Punk retaining the title.
