The fans expected a finish to occur only when there was a submission move applied because they have been conditioned that the match would end only in one of the three women tapping out. However, WWE pulled a smart one by rewarding Becky Lynch with a brilliant roll-up.

Even though it was not befitting to end the main event of a WrestleMania, the finish was still smart on WWE's part.
