Falls Count Anywhere Match: Shane McMahon vs The Miz

No one believed this tag team would last and in what was one of the least surprising turns in history, Shane McMahon betrayed his partner The Miz at WWE Fastlane. The truth is this duo really had no business ever coming together in the first place and the entire team was set up just to get to WrestleMania 35.

The problem with this bout is that everything was easily recognizable as contrived and predictable to the point of nausea. The roles are also reversed. Shane McMahon is still beloved by much of the WWE Universe and meanwhile, The Miz is one of the most gifted heels in wrestling history. Still, Shane McMahon 'blindsided' The Miz and then put his hands on (publicly traded/modern era style) The Miz' father.

Furthering WWE's quest to bury Sanity, The Miz was victorious in a 3 on 1 Falls Count Anywhere Handicap match against the trio on the latest edition of SmackDown Live. Despite The Miz' valiant effort, he already gave away the match's outcome in his pre-match promo. While promoting his new reality show, The Miz and Mrs, The Miz let the WWE Universe know that his family is what's most important to him.

Ever the opportunist, look for Shane McMahon to take advantage of that and utilize The Miz' father (who unbeknownst to The Miz may even be a willing accomplice) to score the WrestleMania victory.
