Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley vs Finn "The Demon" Balor
A feud with build is a wrestling fan's dream and this one is a long time in the making. Lashley won the Intercontinental Championship and wrestling fans wondered if anyone would be able to best the physical imposing newly crowned champion. As the WWE Universe braced for a long Lashley reign, Finn Balor wrestled the title away from Lashley only a month later at Elimination Chamber.
Lashley and his side-kick Lio Rush believed a 2 on 1 handicap match to be to their own benefit and Balor accepted the match at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. The plan ultimately backfired on Lashley and Rush when Balor pinned Rush to become the new Intercontinental Champion.

Friction ensued between Lashley and Rush, but Rush would once again earn Lashley's trust by assisting The Almighty in earning a championship re-match against Balor. Last month Lashley re-captured the gold, due primarily to distraction and interference by Rush.
Balor knows he is outmatched, so he went the drawing board to find a way to even the odds. Balor's drawing board might just be a ouija board because after further deliberation he announced that Lashley would be facing The Demon at WrestleMania 35.
The announcement may have just as well been a victory spoiler. The Demon is undefeated and will continue that streak at WrestleMania. Yes, Lashley is obviously bigger and stronger. Lio Rush is also a master of distraction, but neither is ready for the psychological warfare a match with The Demon entails. Look for Balor to win the mental battle over his opponent and recapture Intercontinental gold at WrestleMania.
