Triple H vs. Batista

Batista hit a huge clothesline right at the beginning and HHH sent Batista outside. HBK was on commentary and Batista threw Hunter over the announce table and almost on top of Michaels. The toolbox was out and Triple H got the steel chain, hitting Batista across the back repeatedly with it.

Hunter took some bolt cutters and locked Batista's fingers in them before slamming him on the steel steps. HHH then used a steel chair to hold him down before using a set of pliers to rip Batista's nose ring out.

Batista was in control and got a two-count over HHH. Hunter sidestepped but Batista countered the following pedigree. Batista used the steels steps on the outside to hit Triple H in the face before setting it up on the announce table and then putting HHH on it.

Batista was about to hit his finisher on the table but Triple H sent him onto the other announce table, spine first. Hunter sent Dave through the table with a spear and the table shattered.

Back in the ring, Batista hit a spine-buster and then the Batista Bomb but Hunter still kicked out at two. Triple H hit a pedigree and Batista kicked out this time. Batista hit a DDT on the steel steps. Ric Flair showed up ringside and handed Hunter the sledgehammer. HHH wasted no time and hit Batista with the hammer, got a pedigree in and secured his victory!
