#2 Daniel Bryan wins the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a Triple Threat Match

Daniel Bryan was the fan-favorite going into Royal Rumble event in 2014, and fans wanted him to win the Men's Royal Rumble match. However, he wasn't even entered in the match, and instead Batista, who'd returned in December of 2013 and vowed to dethrone then champion Randy Orton, won the bout insteaad. Following that, it seemed that the fans were locked into a showdown between the former Evolution partners at The Show of Shows.

The WWE Universe voiced its displeasure, and they filled in the RAW ring with The Leader of the Yes Movement Daniel Bryan, who challenged Triple H to a match at WrestleMania. The Game initially denied the request but agreed to face the former champion on the condition wherein the winner will be added to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania.

Daniel Bryan defied all the odds and the challenges put forth by The Authority. He defeated Triple H at WrestleMania and then went on to win the title in the triple threat match. Micheal Cole referred to the moment as the Miracle on Bourbon Street, and the fans were elated at the win.
