The Undertaker and Roman Reigns were a part of the Royal Rumble event in 2017, where The Big Dog eliminated The Phenom from the match. The two got into a feud where Roman Reigns claimed that WWE is his yard. The Phenom had used this statement for a long time, but when Roman decided to step up to The Deadman, the legend took Roman Reigns down during the build-up to WrestleMania.

The two took shots at each other, but no one thought that Roman Reigns would do the unthinkable for the second time in the history of The Grandest Stage of them all and defeat The Legend.
