Kofi Kingston is a former WWE Champion and has proved that he can be a main event level talent after winning the title back at WrestleMania 35.

The New Day were officially split back in October when Big E was chosen to remain on SmackDown whilst Xavier Woods and Kingston were sent to RAW. Big E has proved that he can do it alone and is now defending the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania tomorrow night.

If Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods lost their titles to a team that hadn't even wrestled a match before being part of tonight's show, then it could be the beginning of the end for the two men.

Woods and Kingston could remain on the same page and walk away amicably, but this could finally be both men's chance to push for that main event spotlight after being stuck in the mid-card for so long.

Both men have recently formed a friendship with Riddle. If he retains his title at WrestleMania then that could be a way for them to step up to the singles platform.
