#2 Randy Orton and The Fiend fight in a gimmick match at WWE WrestleMania Backlash
The Fiend and Randy Orton's WWE WrestleMania match did not feature a clear-cut conclusion to their long-term rivalry. Orton only won thanks to a distraction from Alexa Bliss, and the match ended abruptly before it could reach its peak intensity.
WWE's next pay-per-view is titled WrestleMania Backlash, which will take place on May 16. Orton and The Fiend could settle their feud at the upcoming event in a gimmick match.

Since WWE has to shift back to the ThunderDome format after WrestleMania, it seems like the perfect time to bring back the concept of cinematic matches.
Many WWE fans and critics believe that Randy Orton and The Fiend's saga should end in a setting that can top the Firefly Inferno match's intensity. Clearly, a normal singles contest does not fulfill that requirement.
Over the next few weeks, WWE must focus on building towards the ultimate cinematic clash between Orton and The Fiend.
In a way, it may also redeem Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt's critically-panned House of Horrors match that followed their WrestleMania 33 bout a few years ago.
