At WrestleMania 37, it was heartening to see that WWE did not take the safe, the easy, the tried-and-tested road. It would have been far too easy for Drew McIntyre to regain the WWE Championship in front of the crowd, for Bobby Lashley to slide down the card. But no, Vince McMahon took a chance with Bobby Lashley as the WWE Champion and he's running with the experiment!
Similarly, Seth Rollins has been the star of the company for a very long time, and for him to be unselfish and to help Cesaro get his moment under the spotlight was a very big deal. To Cesaro's credit, he and Seth Rollins wrestled the perfect match at WrestleMania 37. It's up to WWE to help Cesaro reach the next level, carrying this momentum forward.
And what a relief it was to see Braun Strowman defeat Shane McMahon at WWE WrestleMania 37. We go into the new (wrestling) year with new stars and a whole truckload of momentum.
