This is set to be the biggest match presented by RAW at WrestleMania 37. Following the his dominant run over the past year or so, Bobby Lashley feels like a worthy main-eventer for the Grandest Stage Of Them All. He might enter WrestleMania 37 as the WWE Champion after defeating The Miz.
Lashley assaulted Drew McIntyre at Elimination Chamber, where the Scotsman retained his belt in the titular match. This enabled The Miz to cash in his Money in the Bank contract and win the WWE Championship. But now, the All Mighty has staked his claim for a title shot. It is happening on next week's RAW.
After being booked like a dominant force, it feels right to see Lashley become WWE Champion. This would set up a massive collision for WrestleMania between him and McIntyre. The two had a good match in 2020, but the former United States Champion has been protected and elevated since then.
Lashley's partnership with MVP, and the rest of The Hurt Business, has been one of the highlights of RAW. He looks great and is ready to take on the former WWE Champion at WrestleMania. It will be a violent and hard-hitting slugfest and one worthy of headlining Night One of this year's grand event.
