#2 WrestleMania Night Two: Asuka vs. Rhea Ripley for the RAW Women's Championship
Much like the main event of WrestleMania Night One between Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair, the build to Asuka's RAW Women's Championship match against Rhea Ripley has been pretty weak. To be fair, though, things did pick up when the recent debutant turned heel on The Empress of Tomorrow.
The Nightmare already has one great WrestleMania showing under her belt, opening Night Two of last year's event against Charlotte Flair. Ripley lost the NXT Women's Championship that night and will be gunning for redemption against Asuka on Sunday.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
The two of them are phenomenal in-ring workers, with their styles meshing to form a brutal mix of ferocity and power. WWE should simply let Asuka and Ripley lay into each other at WrestleMania, as the two embark on a memorable encounter.
This match could make everybody forget about its build and steal the show from the undercard. Rhea Ripley is likely to win, making for one hell of a potential WrestleMania moment. It would be a great end to Asuka's time as the Champion. Her title reign was terrible, through no fault of her own.
WWE has done the women of RAW and SmackDown a disservice with the build to WrestleMania. But with Banks vs. Belair on Saturday and Asuka vs. Ripley on Sunday, the company may have no choice but to tell better stories with them moving forward.
