#1 WrestleMania Night Two: Roman Reigns vs. Edge vs. Daniel Bryan for the Universal Championship

Well, of course. This is the biggest match across both nights of WrestleMania 37. Roman Reigns will defend the Universal Championship, in what will be an absolute belter of a match against Edge and Daniel Bryan. So many layers make it the best match on the card, both in build and in execution.

For starters, each superstar in this match has come back from career-threatening health issues. In some cases, career-ending. Edge and Bryan were forced to retire from the ring, before making miraculous comebacks. Meanwhile, Reigns fought back from his leukemia and put it in remission for the second time.

These comeback stories all converge on Sunday at WrestleMania, but this main event was not built on them. These three superstars feel like the biggest stars in WWE today, as evidenced by the go-home edition of SmackDown. All three of them cut separate killer promos at the start, middle, and end of the show respectively.

The character alignments are as perfect as they can be as well. Daniel Bryan is the best babyface in WWE and his addition improves the match tenfold while allowing Edge to mold his character into something much darker. The Rated-R Superstar is growing more unhinged every single week.

Edge won the Royal Rumble Match to earn this WrestleMania title shot, but still showed a level of paranoia that eventually led to Bryan's inclusion in this story. The two of them will have to climb a massive mountain at The Show of Shows. That mountain's name is Roman Reigns.

The current Universal Champion is the best version of himself and has been on the run of his career since returning at SummerSlam. Reigns has been operating at a different level, elevating everybody and everything around him. His record in the ring and on the microphone has pretty much been flawless during his Universal title run.

Reigns absolutely should headline WrestleMania. An argument could be made for him to leave as Champion too, although it is far from guaranteed. Bryan and Edge could both realistically win the Universal Championship on Sunday. It is simply so unpredictable, with either outcome a great way to end the two-night event.

Roman Reigns vs. Edge vs. Daniel Bryan could be the overwhelming match of the weekend. All three superstars have contributed to making this one of the most exciting matches in 'Mania history. How excited are you for this main event, and WrestleMania as a whole?
