Damian Priest and The Miz have been feuding on WWE TV now for a number of months. Even though Priest and Bad Bunny were able to pick up the victory last month at WrestleMania, the former NXT star has continued his feud with The A-Lister.
Last night at WrestleMania Backlash, Damian Priest chose to face The Miz in a lumberjack match, which was interestingly used as a way to promote Army of the Dead. The lumberjacks for the match were zombies and the match was contested under much darker lighting.
The lighting wasn't dark enough to cover several botches throughout the match, including Damian Priest's rough landing when he decided to climb to the top rope.
WWE's use of zombies on last night's show has been a huge talking point on Twitter as the WWE Universe has reacted negatively to the fact that this wasn't a normal lumberjack match. Despite being panned by WWE's fanbase, it appears that the zombies served their purpose.
