#7 Shane McMahon reveals how the WCW locker room responded Vince McMahon buying WCW

What went down in the WCW locker room?

In the latest edition of WWE Table For Three, Shane McMahon revealed the details of the first time when he broke the news to the WCW locker room about Vince McMahon buying their promotion.

Shane went on to confirm that many stars in WWE’s rival company first came to know about the deal via his announcement that generated a lot of reaction. Recalling the entire incident, Shane further revealed,

"I was volunteered. My dad says 'I got a plane, go down there and take care of this', and I was like 'thanks!' When we got there and we landed, we come in, and then I was like, 'Alright, here we go' and I'm walking in and there were a lot of guys in the dressing room that I knew, obviously.

"And something along the lines of, I said 'Those who are going to be onboard are, with open arms, welcome... those who don't, okay we completely understand your position, we respect that as well, but right now just to let you guys all know that WWE has purchased WCW.'

"That's the first time they heard it, because everyone was like, 'Man!' When I looked around that room, faces you know... and some were awestruck, some were shocked, some angry, like you can see, and I was like 'I'm going outta here!'"

An underrated friendship?

WWE Superstar Bobby Lashley is currently involved in the Rusev-Lane angle but not so long ago, he was accompanied by Lio Rush. In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda’s Gary Cassidy, Lashley revealed how he felt about teaming up with Lio Rush.

He fondly remembers his time alongside the ‘Man of the Hour’ and believes that his former ‘hype-man’ is brilliant on NXT. With the Survivor Series approaching, Lashley also believes that there might be something on the cards involving both these Superstars.

Lio and I had some great chemistry. We were working really well together and I think if we had kept going, we could have done some big things, but I'm lost, I'm clueless right now.

I like Lio, and I like what he's doing. He just put out an album today so I've downloaded that. I still support things he does and, I don't know, now we are coming up to the NXT rivalry, there might be something with me and Lio against each other or on the same side. I don't know but I'm open to either one.
