What’s the story?
Matt Hardy voiced his opinion on Impact Wrestling teaming up with Global Force Wrestling. Hardy tweeted that the current impact wrestling president is being ‘naïve’ by funding GFW.
In case you didn’t know...
Back in January 2017, Impact Wrestling underwent some major changes. The parent company of the promotion, TNA Entertainment was renamed Anthem Wrestling Exhibitions LLC.

Later on, the Executive Vice President of Anthem, Ed Nordholm became the president of the new company. Jeff Jarrett was later brought on board as a consultant and just a few months later, Impact Wrestling merged with GFW.
The heart of the matter
A fan praised Billy Corgan for the purchase of NWA and as a response to this, Matt Hardy posted the following Tweet.
Matt pointed out that Ed Nordholm was being ‘naïve’ by funding Global Force Wrestling and he also noted that Impact Wrestling would’ve been great if Billy Corgan had the ownership.
What’s next?
The latest tweet from Matt indicates that the rivalry between the Hardy Family and Impact Wrestling is far from over. Ed Nordholm and Impact Wrestling are yet to give a response to Hardy’s claims and it would be interesting to see how they respond if they chose to do so.
Author’s take
It’s not surprising to see Matt speak his mind on Twitter.
And as someone who knew what was going on behind the scenes at Impact, Matt could be right about what he said. A response from Impact Wrestling is likely. And if they decide to do it on television, it could mark the start of another exciting battle between Hardys and Impact Wrestling.
