Things aren't exactly good between Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston right now. They're clearly not on the same page anymore, which has led to much tension between the two. Moreover, this tension couldn't have come at a worse time, as their 10th anniversary is just hours away. But, assuming it continues, we might see some huge changes soon, as Woods could leave The New Day and adopt a new name and personality.
WWE clearly seems ready to pull the trigger on a New Day breakup, and it could happen tonight on RAW. There is a possibility that while celebrating the 10th anniversary, a disgruntled Xavier Woods turns heel. In the process, he could not only leave the group, but also abandon his name, and embrace a persona that is perhaps a darker version of Consequences Creed.
For those who don't remember, Consequences Creed was Xavier Woods' moniker back when he wrestled under the TNA banner. Given WWE's good relationship with TNA, using the name again shouldn't be much of an issue. But, even if he doesn't get the name, he certainly could embark down the path of becoming a dark and perhaps even dangerous heel.

Who knows? Perhaps he can live up to his previous name and actually make those who have crossed him pay, proving that their actions have consequences. But, at this point, this is nothing more than speculation.
Kofi Kingston tore into Xavier Woods last week on RAW
One of the reasons why a New Day breakup might be imminent is because of what went down last week. Facing off against Alpha Academy, both Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods looked confident heading in. However, that confidence proved to be false bravado, as a lack of communication led to them losing the match just a minute or so after the bell was rung.
This, of course, didn't sit well with either superstar and led to a backstage argument between the two. Woods accused Kingston of refusing to listen to him, despite promising to give him free reign as the quarterback of the team. This was followed by a tense back-and-forth, as they threw verbal jabs at one another. But, Kingston perhaps hit the biggest jab of them all, as he tore into Woods, claiming the reason why the latter hasn't had any singles success was that he was "not good enough".
Tonight's RAW promises to be all about The New Day, and for the most part, all eyes will be on them. Will we see the group finally split up? Will it be amicable or will there be bad blood? All will be answered tonight.
