8. Dolph Ziggler
This could have been Ziggler’s year if he had remained the World Heavyweight Champion a little longer, rather he suffered a concussion and got relegated from the main event spot, back to the mid-card.
Despite this, Ziggler delivered some of his great performances and was a popular babyface among the fans, and with his talent to put up a great match he can actually make 2014 his year. Ziggler can be the real deal in 2014.

7. The Rhodes Brothers
Cody Rhodes didn’t have a good time for a major part of this year. Unlike 2012, he didn’t hold a championship, his partner Sandow betrayed on him at Money in the Bank, and later he lost his job.
But, teaming up with his brother, Goldust, proved to be the turning point as the Rhodes brothers came together to not only regain their jobs but also win the tag team titles from The Shield. They brought back significance to the tag titles and delivered some of the best tag matches in recent years and sometimes even involved in the main event matches.
We know that they will eventually lose the titles, break up, and lead toward their feud. Until then let’s enjoy their great tag team performances.
