Zack Ryder Injury Update: The SmackDown Superstar has started training in Orlando for an in-ring return

Former WWE Intercontinental, United States and tag-team champion Zack Ryder is reportedly back in the mix of things. The Ultimate Broski reportedly underwent knee surgery and has started training in Orlando for an in-ring return.

In case you didn’t know...

Zack Ryder, whose real name is Matthew Cardona, has been on hiatus from the WWE ring, after suffering a knee injury in a tag team Battle Royal on the December 13th, 2016 episode of SmackDown Live.

The Woo Woo Woo Kid was expected to be out of action for about 4-9 months.

The heart of the matter

On March 18th of this year, Ryder announced the launch of his new YouTube series titled Z! True Comeback Story that reportedly chronicles his journey back to the ring after suffering the aforementioned knee injury last year.

The 31-year old WWE Superstar recently posted the following photograph on his official social media account, addressing his impending return to in-ring competition in the WWE.

What’s next?

Zack Ryder has started training in Orlando and will reportedly return to SmackDown Live as soon as the WWE doctors clear him for competition.

Zack Ryder is a true warrior in every sense of the word. For those who haven’t followed his story, you ought to know that this man has battled cancer that resided in his foot and spread to his lungs in high school.

And not only that, Zack overcame the disease and would go on to become a WWE Superstar. My hat is off to Zack aka Matthew. Never change Broski!
