India T20I Squad for South Africa 2023

India vs South Africa Squads will lock horns in 3 T20Is, 3 ODIs and 2 Test matches. The sojourn will kickstart with the shortest format of the game, with the Men in Blue set to lock horns with the home side in 3 T20Is in Durban, Port Elizabeth, and Johannesburg on December 08, 10, and 12 respectively. Just like the Australia T20I series, Suryakumar Yadav will continue to lead the team in the absence of Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya.

The India squad is more-or-less the same as the one that is currently embroiled in a 5-match rubber against Australia, with notable exceptions being Mohd Siraj replacing Prasidh Krishna and the exclusion of Axar Patel who has been replaced by new vice-captain, Ravindra Jadeja.

The legendary Virat Kohli is not a part of the white-ball squads as he has requested rest.

Meanwhile, South Africa Squad is yet to be announced for three match India vs South Africa T20I series.

India ODI Squad for South Africa 2023

India vs South Africa squads will come face to face in ODI series starting on 17th December. With regular captain Rohit Sharma opting for rest, wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul will lead the squad in the 3-match ODI series. India ODI squad consists of plenty of new faces like Sai Sudharshan, Rajat Patidar, Rinku Singh, and Tilak Varma, all of whom have proven their mettle in domestic.

The bowling department of India squad for South Africa ODI series also boasts of T20 talents like Arshdeep Singh, and Mukesh Kumar Avesh Khan, while Deepak Chahar and Yuzvendra Chahal have also made their way back into the set-up.

But, South Africa Squad is yet to be announced for three-match ODI series against India.

India Test Squad for South Africa 2023

South Africa will host India Squad for two-match Test series as well. And, it will be part of World Test Championship 2023. After opting out from the white-ball leg, the seniors will be back to take on the Proteas in a two-match Test series. India vs South Africa squad will start training for the important Test series starting on 26th December. Rohit Sharma will lead the squad, which boasts of experienced campaigners like Virat Kohli, vice-captain Jasprit Bumrah, spin-bowling all-rounders R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, and the flair of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shreyas Iyer, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna and Shubman Gill.

However, South Africa is yet to announce their Test Squad for two-match Test series against India
