Mercedes Moné (Mercedes Justine Kaestner-Varnado), is an American professional wrestler and actress who is currently an AEW Superstar. She likewise worked as Moné in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) and NJPW's sister advancement World Wonder Ring Stardom. During her time in WWE from 2012 to 2022, she accomplished various achievements, for example, featuring the first women's Iron Woman at NXT TakeOver: Respect against Bayley. Mercedes Moné won the NXT Year-End Award for Match of the Year against Bayley at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. She was awarded the Slammy Award two times, the first as Female Superstar of the Year and the second time as Double-Cross of the Year in 2020. She also won the Bumpy Award, as Tag Team of the Half-Year in 2020 and Best Match of the Half-Year in 2021. Sports Illustrated named her Wrestler of the Year in 2020 and was placed at the 8th spot among 10 wrestlers in 2019. Sirius XM Busted Open Radio awarded her Wrestler of the Year and Tag Team of the Year in 2020. She is one of the only few female wrestlers to have headlined WrestleMania, and she was also involved in the main event of Hell in a Cell 2016, which was the first PPV to be ever headlined by female wrestlers, and was also the first-ever female Hell in a Cell match.

Moné was named Future Diva of the Year in 2015 and was placed at the 4th spot among the top 10 wrestlers in 2016 by Rolling Stone. Her match against Bayley was named NXT Match of the Year and their feud was named Title Feud of the Year by Rolling Stone in 2015. Mercedes Moné won Match of the Year and Woman of the Year in 2015, Feud of the Year in 2016, Feud of the Year, and Tag Team of the Year in 2020 by Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI). She was ranked in the PWI list two times, in 2016 and 2020. She was awarded Best WWE Moment by the ESPY Awards in 2021 and Tag Team of the Year by CBS Sports in 2020.
