AEW was hopeful of signing top international star Stephanie Vaquer last month, but WWE swooped in and picked up the fan-favorite instead. Vaquer was set to receive an upcoming title shot, but was forced to back out, and is now being replaced by an All Elite talent.
La Primera won her AEW in-ring debut over Lady Frost in late June, but just days after dropped the NJPW Strong Women's Championship to Mercedes Moné at Forbidden Door. She then decided to sign with WWE, while holding the CMLL World Women's Championship and the CMLL Women's Tag Team Championship.
She debuted for WWE a few days later, defeating Isla Dawn at the non-televised live events in Mexico. Vaquer finished up some of her pre-WWE commitments but was scheduled to challenge RevPro's Undisputed British Women's Champion Dani Luna this month.
It was just announced that Mina Shirakawa will now challenge Luna at RevPro's 12th Anniversary event on Saturday, August 24 at the Copper Box Arena in London. This is the night before All In at the nearby Wembley Stadium.

This looks to be the first-ever match between Luna and Shirakawa, who is signed to Stardom but also appears for Tony Khan's AEW and ROH. Luna was signed to WWE NXT UK from July 2019 - August 2022, but is currently signed to TNA.
Shirakawa defeated Rachael Ellering in a dark match at the recent ROH TV tapings, then defeated Taya Valkyrie the next night. She has not appeared for AEW since losing to Toni Storm at Forbidden Door. Luna's last TNA match came at the recent TV tapings, where she lost to Masha Slamovich one night, then teamed with Spitfire partner Jody Threat the next night for a win over Renee Michelle and Kaitland Alexis.
