A fan recently claimed on X (Twitter) that Triple H would soon sign AEW performer Mina Shirakawa to WWE. The wrestling community had quite a varied reaction to this claim.

The 37-year-old female star is currently signed to the World Wonder Ring STARDOM. She also performs for All Elite Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and RevPro. The Japanese star lost the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Championship to Mercedes Mone at the Wrestle Dynasty PPV.

When Mone defeated Stephanie Vaquer to win the NJPW Strong Women's Championship at Forbidden Door 2024, the Chilean professional wrestler was approached by WWE. Some people believe Mina may receive a call-up from the Stamford-based company after losing the Undisputed British Women's Title to Mone at Wrestle Dynasty.

Some fans believe that Mina Shirakawa would be a perfect fit for Triple H's roster.

A fan said, "I'm surprised they haven't already; she's perfect for WWE!"
Another fan wrote, ".@WWENXTbound!"

Others think that she will eventually end up in All Elite Wrestling.

"TK got her wrestling soulmate as his WWC; no way TK lets her go anywhere but AEW, " a user commented.
"As much as [I] like the idea I think Mina and Thekla are AEW bound," another user wrote.

AEW performer Mina Shirakawa wants to be a champion in the United States

During an interview with Troy Gonzales of WrestleZone a few months ago, Mina Shirakawa was asked to share her goals for 2025. The 37-year-old replied that since she has already won gold in Japan and England, her aim in 2025 is to win gold in the United States of America.

“I have won Japanese belts and the British belt, but not yet an American belt. In 2025, I want to be a champion in the United States," she said. [H/T: WrestleZone]

WWE and AEW are the two biggest pro wrestling companies in the United States. Therefore, Mina could join either of the two promotions. But she already has a working relationship with All Elite Wrestling. Hence, it is likely that she may eventually sign a contract with Tony Khan's company. However, that doesn't rule WWE out of the picture.
