Orange Cassidy (original name: James Cipperly) is a wrestling instructor and pro wrestler. He is right now performing in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) where he is the present AEW International title holder and created the record as the longest champion. Early Life

Orange Cassidy graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 2002. He spent his college life at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and graduated from there with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree five years later in 2007.

Professional Wrestling Career

In 2004 he made his debut in the Ground Breaking Wrestling (GBW) which is based in Hanover, Pennsylvania, US. He teamed up with Danny Rage as the New Jersey Independent All-Stars under the name "JC Ryder". He likewise worked for the Valley Wrestling Alliance and the Eastern Wrestling Alliance. The team New Jersey Independent All-Stars beat Xtreme Pandemonium in January 2005 to win the GBW Tag Team Title which they retained for four months. The team won the tag team title again in April 2006 before losing it the following year. he signed with Chikara with the same in-ring name in 2005. He created the Colony and masked himself as a new character Fire Ant. He continued with the same name for the next thirteen years. He took his present name and look in 2012 in the same promotion.

Cassidy made his AEW debut in 2019. He won his first title in AEW in 2022 by defeating his longstanding opponent Pac. This title was renamed the next year as the AEW International Championship. He successfully defended this title till now against almost 25 opponents such as Jake Hager, Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, Buddy Matthews, and many others on several occasions. His main opponents in AEW were Pac and Chris Jericho. Cassidy had been feuding and faced these two opponents several times as of now. he defeated Pac in their first face-off in 2022. He was appreciated by analysts for his performance in that match. However, he was defeated by Chris Jericho in their first match. He also won the rematch against Jericho. Cassidy was then challenged by Jericho to a Mimosa Mayhem match. Cassidy likewise won the match and ended his feud with Jericho. He took part in AEW's Double or Nothing event for the AEW World Title. He faced opponents like Pac and Kenny Omega in a three-way title-deciding match.

Cassidy won the AEW International Title in 2022 and defended it against various challengers, including Rey Fenix, Katsuyori Shibata, Jake Hager, Q.T. Marshall, The Butcher, Trent Seven, Kip Sabian, Lee Johnson, Jay Lethal, Luchasaurus, Lee Moriarty, Wheeler Yuta, Swerve Strickland, Trent Beretta, Big Bill, Dralístico, Buddy Matthews, Bandido, Daniel Garcia, Jeff Jarrett, Kyle Fletcher, and AR Fox. He at last lost the title to Jon Moxley at All Out 2023. Cassidy later recaptured the Title by beating Rey Fenix. This win made Cassidy the initial two-time holder of the title. His reign finished after 145 days when he lost the title to Roderick Strong.
