Born on 4th May, 1984, Orange Cassidy started his wrestling career in Ground Breaking Wrestling Promotion (GBW), where he wrestled as “JC Ryder” and won the GBW Tag Team Championships twice with Danny Rage. While working for GBW, he also made appearances in other Pennsylvania-based promotions, such as Valley Wrestling Alliance and Eastern Wrestling Alliance, but his major stint came with the promotion called Chikara, where he debuted as JC Ryder but then changed his gimmick to Fire Ant, a masked wrestler who was the leader of the stable called The Colony. During this gimmick, he won the Tag World Grand Prix and Campeonatos de Parejas with Soldier Ant as well as the King of Trios with Green Ant and Soldier Ant. He introduced his gimmick, Orange Cassidy, in 2012 within the Chikara promotion itself, which turned out to be one of his most well-known and famous characters. He debuted as Orange Cassidy in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) on 25th May, 2019 at Double or Nothing as a participant in the Casino Battle Royal, and since then he has been labeled as the most popular star of AEW. He has gone on to make a name for himself with his unique wrestling style and appeal to all audience alike. On 12th October, 2022, Cassidy finally won his first championship in AEW, the AEW- All Atlantic Championship which has since then be renamed as AEW International Championship and Cassidy is the longest reigning International Champion of the brand. In 2023, he also won the Casino Tag Team Royale with Danhausen.
