American professional wrestler and trainer James Cipperly, who was born on May 4, 1984, is more commonly known by his ring name, Orange Cassidy. He has a contract with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is the reigning AEW International Champion after a record-breaking first reign, the longest in the history of the title. The stable of Best Friends also includes Cassidy.

Cassidy had previously worked for the Chikara company as the masked professional wrestler known as Fire Ant, or luchador enmascarado, before joining AEW. Fire Ant was a member of the Colony stable, which twice won Chikara's prestigious King of Trios event and once won the Campeonatos de Parejas.

Alongside Chuck Taylor and Drew Gulak, he also made an unmasked appearance in Chikara as a part of the Gentleman's Club faction, serving as a trainer in the promotion's Wrestle Factory school. From 2004 to 2019, he was also a well-known wrestler on the independent circuit.

Against a number of opponents, including Luchasaurus, Rey Fenix, Katsuyori Shibata, Lee Johnson, Jake Hager, Q. T. Marshall, Trent Seven, and others, Cassidy successfully defended the title during his reign at the AEW International Championship in 2023.

After pinning Daniel Garcia in a four-way match, Cassidy defeated Zack Sabre Jr., Katsuyori Shibata, and Cassidy on June 25 at Forbidden Door to successfully defend the AEW International Championship. In the main event of All Out 2023, Jon Moxley defeated Cassidy to win the title.

In order to compete for the AEW World Tag Team Championship in the future, Cassidy and Hook teamed up with The Young Bucks, Lucha Brothers, and the Gunns at WrestleDream 2023. However, their encounter with the rival team proved fruitless. Cassidy defeated Rey Fenix to reclaim the International Championship at “Dynamite: Title Tuesday,” making history as the title's first two-time holder in October 2023.

As of November 2023, Orange Cassidy is not in a relationship. However, in 2022, there were rumors that Cassidy was dating wrestler Kris Statlander. But they both denied it, claiming that they had only been friends since their days as independent wrestlers. It was eventually discovered that Stadtlander and Caleb Konley were dating.

Throughout Cassidy’s tenure at AEW, Cassidy has made no mention of being in a relationship. As with most aspects of his personal life, it is expected that if he had a girlfriend, he would keep her out of the spotlight and maintain the privacy of their relationship.
