Danmachi season 5 episode 7 begins with Ryu regaining consciousness in a dim-lit cottage room. As soon as she wakes up, she notices Alfi standing beside her. The elf girl asks Alfi about their current whereabouts. Alfi reveals they are in the town of Agris. She fled Orario with Ryu under orders from Hermes.

Suddenly, Ryu recalls her last encounter with Ottarl, and how she jumped in front of the adventurer to save Bell. She panics and feels they must hurry up and reach Orario as soon as possible. However, Alfi informs her that Goddess Freya has already taken over Orario with her charm ability.

Since everyone in Orario has fallen under the Goddess of Beauty's control, Alfi feels they must proceed with caution. Ryu realizes they mustn't rush and apologizes to Alfi for shouting at her earlier. Alfi doesn't mind since she would have done the same if she were alone.

She is delighted to learn that Ouranos hasn't fallen victim to Freya's charms. Hestia almost tells Ouranos about Hermes's note, but he quickly stops her from spilling the beans, reminding her that the walls have ears and eyes. Ouranos refers to Fels, who has been charmed by Freya's spell.

Since the weather has gotten colder than usual, he plans to ensure that plenty of firewood is prepared. Ouranos tells Fels to tell Hermes and his children to distribute all the firewood this year.

Even though it's a job that the Ganesha Familia handles every year, Ouranos feels they must be busy with Freya's tasks. Fels understands God's logic and accepts his request. Ouranos once again tells Hestia to return and she finally listens.

Besides, the Gulliver brothers inform Freya that they have polished Bell's fighting prowess better than before. Freya approves of it and tells them to keep it up. She also wants them to give Bell enough freedom, and yet keep guards and observers on his tail, in case something goes wrong.

During the meeting, Hedin Selland informs Freya that Bell once asked about Syr, and he told him that he knew no girl of such name. Freya tells Hedin to maintain that false narrative. That way, she can weaken his Liaris Freese skill's effect, which prevents her from charming him.

However, Bell says she doesn't need the treatment for now. Sometime after, Ottarl arrives at Freya's room once she's alone. He reveals that Allen has been keeping an eye on the tavern. According to his intel, Mia hasn't done anything, but there's no sign of Ryu. Freya is sure that Ryu must have fled outside the city with one of Hermes's children.
