Kaiju No. 8, or Monster #8 in English, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Naoya Matsumoto. The plot is centered around Kafka Hibino, who becomes a kaiju after consuming a parasitic species. To keep his word to a childhood friend, he must now use his strength to travel while attempting to join an organisation that eradicates kaiju.
