One Piece surely lives up to all expectations when viewed in its early seasons. Early One Piece is appealing and well-animated, with amazing character designs and the ideal amount of timing throughout. That cannot be said, though, of the plot as it develops. With the manga not too far behind, it was only natural that One Piece's storyline would slow down as it progressed.
Concurrently, there were also several issues with the production of the One Piece anime, which frequently prevented some episodes from getting the deserved amount of publicity. However, One Piece is a really old anime and thus as a result, a fresh take will undoubtedly be interesting. The anime series has performed incredibly well in recent years.

Until now, the production studio has only released a few concept art for the anime. The announcement regarding the One Piece remake was made during Jump Festa 2024 held on December 17, 2023.
Owing to the already fantastic manga and anime series and a live-action version to top it all off, 2023 was a huge year for One Piece. The One Piece remake announcement raised even more expectations for the fans, however, it won’t be anytime soon when the remake airs.

The One Piece Remake Seasons
The strategy for the One Piece anime remake remains unconfirmed. It will most likely be seasonal, though. The formal announcement makes it clear that they will focus on the East Blue saga first, which is a clear hint at this. This establishes that the first season of One Piece anime will be called East Blue and that the events of the Arabasta Saga will be covered in the second season, which is expected to be made many months after the first season premieres.
