Michael Norman is an American professional sprinter and one of the most accomplished quarter-milers of his era. The 26-year-old from San Diego burst onto the scene by winning two golds at the 2016 World Junior Championships.

After a record-breaking college career at USC, Norman turned pro in 2018. He is the current world record holder in the indoor 400m with a time of 44.52 seconds. At the 2022 World Championships, Norman became the first American man to win world gold in the 400m since 2013.

The sprinter, who has also excelled from 100m to 200m, anchored the 4x400m relay teams that won gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and 2022 World Championships.
