Tara Davis-Woodhall is a professional American track and field athlete. She was born on May 20, 1999, and completed her high school at the Agoura High School, in her hometown Agoura Hills, California, USA. Her high school career in track and field was an impressive one and laid the foundations for an even more impressive career. Following her high school, she began her graduation at the University of Georgia.
Following a season at the University, she transferred to the University of Texas. Davis has won three medals at the Pan American Junior Championships, a gold at the World Youth Championships, a bronze at the World Junior Championships, a gold at the World Indoor Championships, and a silver medal at the 2023 Budapest World Championships in the long jump. Woodhall qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics but did not win a medal. She will be eyeing to finish this drought at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Tara Davis-Woodhall’s personal best long jump is 7.18 meters, which she made at the Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico in February 2024. Davis-Woodhall once also recorded a long jump of 7.24 meters in Chula Vista, California, in July 2022, but it is not considered an official accomplishment. Nevertheless, it is one of the most impressive long jumps by an athlete. In 2017, Davis Woodhall created the record for the greatest indoor long jump with a distance of 6.68 meters, a record which is now held by Alyssa Jones who scored 6.74 meters in 2023.
