Tara Davis-Woodhall is a professional American track and field athlete, with her eyes all set on making her mark in the 2024 Paris Olympics. She has qualified for the event in the Women’s Long Jump category. While the qualifying mark was 6.86 meters, she jumped 7 meters in the trials, to punch her ticket to Paris.

Davis-Woodhall has a successful international career in long jump, winning a silver medal at the 2023 Budapest World Championship, a gold at the 2024 Glasgow World Indoor Championships, a bronze at the World Junior Championships, a gold at the World Youth Championships, and three medals at the Pan American Junior Championships.

Tara Davis-Woodhall is an American by nationality. She was born on May 20, 1999, to Ty and Rayshon Davis. Her father is a retired Air Force veteran and a track and field coach as well, who has mentored her daughter throughout her career. Besides Woodhall, he has also been helping train other track and field athletes as well. The couple are parents to five children and as per reports, all four siblings are older than Davis-Woodhall. However, their names are not known as of now.

The birthplace of Tara Davis-Woodhall is not known. It is known that her family first stayed in Texas and then soon moved to Agoura Hills in California, when she was very young. Davis-Woodhall attended Agoura High School and had a great sporting career there. She began her graduation at the University of Georgia, giving memorable performances at the NCAA Indoor Championships. Later, she transferred to the University of Texas, where she completed her graduation.
