2015 French Open Superseries: Schedule for Indian players on Day one of the main draw

One tournament finishes, Another one starts. After a rather disappointing outing in Odense last week, which saw just PV Sindhu perform spectacularly well, the action now shifts to Paris for the French Open Superseries.

If there is one thing at stake here, it is redemption for almost all the Indians participating.top seed, Saina Nehwal will square off against Canada’s Michelle Li in the opening match of the main draw.

After having a tough first round match at Denmark, Parupalli Kashyap should hopefully have it a bit easy at Paris, when he takes on a qualifier. Kidambi Srikanth, who has also needs to pull up his socks, will take on Tian Houwei of China in his first round match.

The Women’s Doubles pairing of Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa, who have endured a tough run, ever since winning the Canada Open will also be eager to get back to winning ways when they face off against Jongkholphan Kititharakhul and Rawinda Prajonhjai of Thailand.

HS Prannoy will also a have a good opportunity to inflict more pain on a struggling Lin Dan while Ajay Jayaram will take on Denmark’s Had Krishan Vittinghus in the first round. PV Sindhu will also be in action and will face the 4^th seed Wang Shixian.
