Saina Nehwal will be keen to avenge her Australian Open quarterfinal defeat to Wang Shixian when she faces her on Thursday

After three days of the 2015 Indonesian Open, just 2 India players remain in the fray as we head into the quarterfinals stage of the tournament on Friday. In the Men’s Draw, Parupalli Kashyap will have a stiff task ahead of him when he takes on World No.1 Chen Long in the quarters.

In the women’s singles, India’s Saina Nehwal will have a chance to avenge her Australian Open quarter-final when she takes on Wang Shixian of China on Thursday.

So while there may be only 2 Indians in the fray, it still promises to be an exciting day and one can hope for one, if not, both players, to progress further into the semifinals of the competition.
