After the early exit of Parupalli Kashyap, India found some good news coming their way in Men’s Singles as Kidambi Srikanth progressed through to the third round after beating Hsu Jen Ho of Chinese Taipei 21-14 21-15 in the second round on Wednesday.
Right from the opening game, the Indian, dominated proceedings, racing away to an early 8-1 lead and then sustaining that advantage throughout, not allowing his opponent any room and winning it 21-14.

The second game proved to be a slightly more tighter affair but on two separate occasions, first at the 8-8 mark and then at the 12-12 mark, Srikanth took the uppper hand in the contest and crucially maintained the stranglehold tot eventually win 21-15 and move into the pre-quarter stage of the tournament.
This will certainly comes as a boost for the Indians, considering the exit of Parupalli Kashyap in the second round, earlier in the day.
