PV Sindhu got her revenge on Nozomi Okuhara after defeating the Japanese shuttler.

The Korea Open Super Series was PV Sindhu's third super series title overall. It turned out to be an epic battleground when the same two finalists for World Badminton Championship- Nozomi Okuhara and PV Sindhu faced each other for the second time within three weeks.

In a super-exciting and thrilling match, Sindhu took charge and avenged her WBC defeat. She took an hour and 23 minutes to defeat Okuhara.

The Korea Open final was a rerun of the WBC match. The Indian shuttler outlasted Okuhara by winning 22-20, 11-21, 21-18.

The game was neck and neck, and although both the players showed their a-game, Sindhu won the game which also resulted in breaking Okuhara's 14-medal winning streak.
