India’s Ajay Jayaram crashed out of the US Open Grand Prix gold after losing to the number 1 seed Chou Tien Chen of Chinese Taipei 21-18 21-19 in the third round of the tournament on Thursday.
Game 1 saw both players match one another point for but it was Chen who broke the deadlock to take the lead in the fixture and despite Jayaram, trying his best to make comeback, maintained that lead throughout the game to eventually seal it 21-18.

In the second game, both players once again reached a deadlock 9-9 after Chen had raced off to an early 6-2 lead, but it was the Chinese Taipei player who took the lead once again at that mark and maintained the lead throughout the game to eventually win it 21-19 and move into the quarterfinals.
Final Scoreline- Chou Tien Chen(TPE) beat Ajay Jayaram(IND) 21-18 21-19
