Ajay Jayaram lost his quarterfinal in straight games

India’s Ajay Jayaram was knocked out of the 2015 Canada Open, after losing 21-16 21-15 to number one seed Marc Zwiebler of Germany in the quarterfinal stage of the competition on Friday.
Game 1 proved to be a close affair with both players going toe-to-toe, but the crucial turn came at the 13-13 mark when Zwiebler first won 2 points to go 15-13 up and then won the game at the 16-15 mark, by clinching 5 points on the trot to eventually seal the game 21-16 in his favour.

The second game proved to be a similar affair as both players matched one another, point-for-point but once again Jayaram failed to seize the advantage, particularly at the 14-14 mark, as Zwiebler won 2 points consecutively to go 16-14 up and then backed that with more points on the trot to eventually the seal the game and the match in his favour.
