The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) has confimed that one of its athletes failed a dope test, but without mentioning the athlete’s name. Datuk Norza Zakaria, the deputy president of BAM made the announcement at an emergency council meeting on October 26 to have a talk regarding the issue.
The announcement was first made by the official from the association regarding the doping issue. The athlete has requested “B” sample to be tested.
The tests might be carried out on either November 4 or 5 in Oslo, Norway.
Meanwhile, Datuk Norza refused to tell out any names until the “B” sample results are released.
