Indians in the fray on Day 3 of the Indonesia Open include Saina Nehwal, K Srikanth, Parupalli Kashyap. In doubles, the team of Pranaav Jerry Chopra and Akshay Dewalkar and women’s doubles pair Ashwini Ponnappa and Jwala Gutta will also compete.
Saina will face Hsu Ya Ching from Chinese Taipei at 3.15 pm on Istora Senayan – 1. Parupalli Kashyap is scheduled to play 3rd on Istora Senayan – 3 and is expected to take the court around 10 am against 5th ranked Son Wan Ho.
Chopra and Dewalkar are also in action at the same time as Kashyap on Istora Senayan – 2. They face a tough opponent in the form of 5th ranked Chinese pair of Chai Biao and Hong Wei.
Srikanth will take the Istora Senayan – 4 court after Ashwini-Jwala’s match against Yu Yang and Zhong Qianxhin, who play around 9.30 am. Srikanth and his opponent Anthony Ginting are expected to take the court at 10 am.
