The second game proved to be a more tighter affair as the Turkish pair tried to make a fist of the contest but unfortunately the pairing of Gutta and Ponnappa proved to be too good for them and they made their way into the quarterfinals.
They will face the German pair of Johanna Goliszewski and Carla Nelte in the quarterfinals.
